We have a Endian Firewall in use which uses https With both the Internet Explorer and Chrome plugin the webpage doesn’t open the credentials prompt but immediately delivers the following message Unauthorized This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn’t understand how to supply the credentials required. I’d like to use (must) use HTTP Basic Auth to login into a website. This seems to work with IE but not with Chrome. In the post above, there is a link to a knowledgebase site, but the basic auth entry (and config in RoyalTS) doesnt exists anymore.

Am I blind? Am I missing something?

How i can use HTTP Basic Auth with the Chrome Plugin?

(My actual RoyalTS Version is V6.1.60329)

Hi Marco,

you just define a credential and make sure “Automatic Logon” is checked. The web browser will then try to use basic auth.
