Connecting to a Webpage with HTTP authentication

We have a Endian Firewall in use which uses https

With both the Internet Explorer and Chrome plugin the webpage doesn’t open the credentials prompt but immediately delivers the following message

Unauthorized

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn’t understand how to supply the credentials required.

Is there a trick to connect to webpages with HTTP authentication? The credentials tab does not seem to help. Even with saved credentials it displays the same message.

Hi,

it really depends on the authentication method required. If basic authentication is supported, you can activate it in the advanced properties:

Internet Explorer:
