SSH terminal "start logging"

Hi,

I start up new ssh connection and select from tab options “start logging”, set file name and start using terminal. After some i time i stop terminal logging, when i finish my work in terminal.

After that, from “Log Viewer” i don not see any logs.
I’ve managed to find logs from local system.

Is there any better ways to view logs?

Current way is not very convenient and does not make much sense.

Hi,

the integrated log viewer only enumerates the log files in the directory configured in your terminal connection’s “Logging” settings.

If you start logging manually from within the connection, you have to pick a custom path to store the log file which might be in a different folder than what’s configured in the connection settings.

So, to have your logs show up automatically in the log viewer, open the properties of your terminal connection, switch to the “Logging” section and configure a logging directory there.

cheers,
Felix
