Import/Export Text Highlighting

Greetings,

first of all: i love the built-in Text Highlighting Presets

I would like to make/move over different Text Highlighting’s, sadly I noticed there is no way to Export/Import them into different Hosts.

Could this be added the same way the Color Palette Import/Export is working?

Hi Clemens,

the text highlighting menu just provides a couple of pre-defined regular expressions. You can set/configure multiple connections with the predefined expressions and or custom expressions using the bulk-edit feature:

Hi,

good to know that the Bulk-Edit works there too (i always seem to forget about the Bulk-Edit)

however in my use-case, this helps me only partwise.

I use multiple Documents that cannot be merged, and the Bulk-Edit doesn’t work across multiple Documents.

And copy/pasting 80 Text Hightlighting Rules seems rather boring over multiple Documents
