Feature Request: Add "Close Other Tabs" to the tab context menu

Hi Royal TSX team,

I am an active user of Royal TSX and really appreciate the app. However, I’ve noticed a missing UI feature that would greatly improve the daily workflow and tab management.

I would like to request adding a “Close Other Tabs” (or “Close All But This”) option to the right-click context menu of the tabs.

Currently, when I have multiple connections open and want to focus on just one, I have to manually close all the other tabs one by one. Having a “Close Other Tabs” option — exactly like the one found in Google Chrome, Safari, and most modern code editors — would be incredibly logical and a huge time-saver.

I have attached a screenshot of the current tab context menu. I think this new option would fit perfectly somewhere near the “Disconnect” or “Split Tabs” items.

I’m happy to report that this feature will be included in the next Royal TSX 26 Beta release.

It will be added to both, the Actions and Tab menus and be implemented as an “alternate” item to the regular Disconnect item (hold down ⌥ to access it).

Hope that helps! Please let us know if it works as expected once the next beta lands.
