My issue is pretty much the same as the issue described here:
The difference is the solve for that particular trigger of the issue does not resolve mine. I keep RoyalTSX on a dedicated workspace, and I flip between workspaces regularly while doing work. I had this same workflow on Windows with RoyalTS, with the same key bindings to do so, but never ran into this issue with the stuck modifier keys (Cmd/Ctrl specifically, but could be affecting others and I just haven’t noticed.).
Based on the solution to the prior issue I referenced, I suspect my issue could be resolved by simply polling all the modifier keys at a regular interval, and setting them to released if not pressed as is done on wake-up/login for the previous issue. The poll would not need to be insanely aggressive. Somewhere between 200ms to 500ms, or even if it could be configurable, that would be great and would resolve this very troublesome problem.
This issue is my only gripe with RoyalTSX since changing from Windows to Mac recently at work. But if there is no real solution for it, I’ll probably have to find another tool.
