Windows 11 - Navigation panel changes width when minimizing RoyalTS

Hello,

after recent update of RoyalTS 7.3.50902 I’ve noticed that only on Windows 11 OS, the Navigation panel (the one with the list of Documents) gets resized (smaller width) when minimizing the RoyalTS window, then opening it again. The Navigation panel is docked.

On Windows 10 this behaviour isn’t occuring.

Any ideas how to mitigate it?

Hi Branko,

sorry that you are experiencing this behavior.

Our lead-dev looked into this, and as suspected, this is a bug which occurred in the latest DevExpress Update, which is the framework used in Royal TS V7.

As a workaround, please Disable the “Rounded Corners” setting, found in the “Royal TS Options > User Interface > Appearance” section as shown here:

I can confirm this is a bug in the UI framework we are using. A hotfix has been requested. We will publish a new release as soon as we get this fixed.

Can’t tell you how many brain cells I wasted trying to re-size it to get the _exact_ pixel width back to original. (Yes, the first step is admitting there’s a problem.)

Then 20 minutes later, it’s all undone.

Rinse. Repeat. Madness ensues.
