Often when I’m working with Royal TS across my Windows machine and MacBook, I will have made some changes in my merge file on one machine but forgot to save. When I close Royal TS, I’m prompted that I have unsaved changes, but there’s no way to see what those changes are. So I’m either blindly updating or dismissing in hopes that it was nothing important.

TL;DR it would be useful if the “you have unsaved changes” popup would display what those unsaved changes are.

Hi Luuk!

Thanks for the feedback. Can you provide more details what you expect from this dialog. The number of changes may be quite high and listing them all wouldn’t scale very well. What kind of additional information and details do you expect? What should we do if the number of changes are in the hundreds or thousands?

Hi Stefan,

I’m not sure what the ideal solution would be honestly.
Perhaps “you have x unsaved changes” and a button to open page or dialog that would display all changes but would take a while to load?
Personally I never have thousands of changes without saving, so I can’t speak to that.

Also on another note, recently I accidentally embedded a credential with an SSH key in a merge file, which prompted the enable encryption dialog.
As this was a mistake, I needed to disable the embedded credential. However, finding the right connection had me going through every single connection to find.
Off-topic, so can create another feedback topic, but just leaving this here.
