Treat Split Screen as a seperate (Epsecially Horizontal Split)

Would it be possible to treat split screens as a tab on it’s own. Specifically Horizontal Splits.

So when i go to a different tab i don’t see the split. And i should be able to restore the split back to how it was initially.

I’m not sure I fully understand the request. Do you mean you want to be able to hide a specific split pane, leaving only the tab bar visible and be able to restore it somehow later down the line? Thx, Felix

What i am trying to explain is that each tab should be it’s own object.

If I have a tabbed screen. That has been split horizontally like the one on the right, it should be tied to that particular tab.

So if i move to another tab, it shouldn’t be showing up, as shown below

I am not sure if this is I was able to convey it as it is in my head. It should primarily only affect secondary splits. So a primary split is always the first split (Vertical or Horizontal) anything after that is a secondary split.
