RoyalTerminal: clipboard line breaks & triming

Hi,

I’ve tested the latest RTS 26 beta 16 and found some issues with the clipboard management:

  • When selecting multiple lines in the terminal, the line breaks are not correctly handled
    • Pasting the clipboard content in the same terminal show empty lines between each lines
    • Pasting in vscode on local host does not have those extra lines
  • Extra spaces are added at the end of each lines
    • Looks like each “virtual spaces” added to fill the width of the terminal are included in the clipboard

Pasting some text from the local host to the terminal also add those extra lines but there is obviously no extra spaces at the end of lines.

Also, the option to show the preview of the clipboard before pasting when it contains line breaks is not working (the popup did not show):

thanks for reporting the issues. This should be fixed in the next release.
