Hi Pierre,

you can use the syntax $Description$ to replace the token with the contents of the Description field.

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

Thanks for you answer.

But it’s not working.

Are you sure that RoyalTS substitute the “$Description$” (without the quotes) with the value of the “Remote desktop” TAB ?

Hi Pierre,

I just did some tests and it’s working fine for me. Are you running an older version of Royal TS maybe? Can you provide a screenshot of the Advanced -> Program screen?

Regards,

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

Obviously, my version is 4.01.60406.10000 ==> Not the last one !

I’m going to upgrade.

Here is my “Advanced -> Program screen”

Best regards

Pierre

Hello Stefan, i’m using an “old” version of Royal TS : 4.01.60406.10000

I’m going to upgrade and to try again.

I let you know the result.

Best Regards

Pierre

Hello Stefan,

I’m now in RoyalTSInstaller 4.02.61030.10000 and i have the same result.

Config working OK :

Config NOT Working

In fact, we are using Cyberark and the gool is to connect to a server thru CyberArk Proxy and to have only one line to change when you duplicate an entry.

Thanks for you help

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

as mentioned in my first reply, you need to use the following syntax: $Description$. Note that you need to use $ instead of %

Stefan

Thank you so much

it’s working fine.

You can close my request.

You’re welcome! Glad it’s working now…

Would this work in the same way for the MacOS version?

Hi Gaston,

yes, although you’ll need Royal TSX V5 because we only implemented the feature in a recent beta version.

You can get the beta here: https://www.royalapps.com/ts/mac/features-beta

Hope that helps!

cheers,
