# RDP Connection to Ubuntu 24.04 fails with disconnect reason = 2

In case you are trying to connect to an Ubuntu 24.04 and the connection fails with “disconnect reason = 2”, please activate the “Use Redirection Server Name” setting, found in the “Remote Desktop \> Advanced \> Connection” section as shown here:
