Greetings,

first of all: i love the built-in Text Highlighting Presets

I would like to make/move over different Text Highlighting’s, sadly I noticed there is no way to Export/Import them into different Hosts.

Could this be added the same way the Color Palette Import/Export is working?

Thanks!

Hi Clemens,

the text highlighting menu just provides a couple of pre-defined regular expressions. You can set/configure multiple connections with the predefined expressions and or custom expressions using the bulk-edit feature:

> [@Bulk-Edit and the Folder Dashboard (Win)](https://community.royalapps.com/t/bulk-edit-and-the-folder-dashboard-win/275):
>
> This video shows how to change individual settings on multiple objects of the same type. Bulk-Edit also works across different types for common properties. [[YouTube] ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpUKaFlcMN4)Showing objects from subfolders By default, the folder dashboard only shows objects that are immediate children of the selected folder. If you need to also work with objects in subfolders, enable the setting “Show objects from subfolders” in the context menu of the “Filter” field:

Let me know if this helps.

Stefan

Hi,

good to know that the Bulk-Edit works there too (i always seem to forget about the Bulk-Edit)

however in my use-case, this helps me only partwise.

I use multiple Documents that cannot be merged, and the Bulk-Edit doesn’t work across multiple Documents.

And copy/pasting 80 Text Hightlighting Rules seems rather boring over multiple Documents

Best Regards,

Clemens

Hi Clemens,

the next release includes basic import/export functionality for text highlighting rules.

Stay tuned…
