# Autostart Recording session logs Text file real time

Currently, the log generates after disconnecting the session which is less than ideal during active work. Can we have this output generated in real time? SecureCRT has this feature, an active session creates a txt file and updates it with every input in the VTY session. Thanks.

We’ve implemented real-time text logging for terminal sessions in the upcoming Royal TS V26 beta. With **Create Text File from Recording** enabled, completed lines are written to the text file while the session remains connected. Any unfinished final line is saved when recording stops.
